ATPSY – Hissteria Excursion (ZOO)

Students will engage in a lecture about how Zoo keepers use Classical and Operant conditioning to feed, clean and provide medical aid to animals in their care. The lecture also covers how zoo keepers use desensitization processes to help treat phobias.

Students will be meeting at Thornlie Train Station by 8:30. They will be taking the train to Perth and the ferry over to the Zoo. Students will spend the day at the Zoo including a psychology lecture on Classical/ operant conditioning and phobias.
