Doing Well in High School (ONLINE Seminar)
Our School Psychologist Kathryn Hallifax will be hosting another Triple P Seminar next week called Doing Well in High School. This Seminar will be run as an online webinar. The seminar will cover topics such as helping your teenager develop self-discipline, problem-solving skills, getting involved in school activities, following school rules and developing supportive friends. NRLWA Year 11/12 South Gala
Our selected Year 10, 11 and 12 Rugby Academy students will take part in the Senior School Southside Gala Tournament at Lark Hill Sporting Complex on Wednesday 18th March 2026. Students must arrive at school in full school uniform and be of good standing in order to play. The school bus will be leaving at 8.30am sharp and will return to school at approximately 3.30pm

National Ride2School Day
National Ride2School Day is Australia’s largest celebration of active travel and a great opportunity for our school community to get moving. We encourage students to ride, scoot or skate to school. It’s a great way to promote healthy habits, build independence and bring some extra energy and colour to the school day.

Yr 8 Lightning Carnival – Beach Volleyball
Allows students to practice their skills in competitions against other schools. Developments of Self management and sportsmanship skills. The carnival will be held at Canning Vale Beach Volleyball Club. Students need to be at school by 7:45 am at the latest. This will allow them to be provided with a volleyball shirt and knee pads (if they desire). We aim to be back at school by 3:05pm Students will need to bring their own lunch and recess/ drinks for the whole day activity. Full TSHS uniform and enclosed shoes

NRLWA Thornlie SHS vs Yanchep SC Year 8 & 10
Our selected Year 10, 8 AND 7 Rugby Academy students will take part in the NRLWA Rugby League Schools Competition and will be taking on Yanchep SC for the first time. Students must arrive at School in full school uniform and be of good standing in order to play. The school bus will be leaving at 9.00am SHARP and we will be back at school at approximately 3.00PM. Students must supply their own playing socks and shorts

Aranmore Cup Netball Carnival 2026
Students from Years 7-9 Netball are invited to participate in an all-day Netball carnival to consolidate Term 1 skills and strategies from class. The carnival promotes participation and sportsmanship between schools with emphasis on development.

NRLWA Thornlie SHS vs Yanchep SC Year 9
Our selected Year 9 Rugby Academy students will take part in the NRLWA Rugby League Schools Competition and will be taking on Yanchep SC for the first time at Thornlie SHS. Students must arrive at School in full school uniform, attend Periods 1 and 2, and be of good standing in order to play. Students will meet Mr Bruns in the Rugby weights room at the start of Recess to get changed and set up the oval. Following the game, students will attend period 5 RUGBY Year 9, with Mr Bruns. Students must supply their own playing socks and shorts.
